"This series is a collaboration between myself (Tim Green) and Matt Shelley, a London-based photographer/physics genius. All the photos were taken on Matt's travels around Bolivia and Peru on the Inca trail which I have then processed and collaged to give a 1970s sci-fi/isaac asimov book illustration feel to them."

Normally, I'm not a big fan of double exposures or overlay photo-collage, but this is done really well.
And I've been wanting to go to Bolivia and Peru for some time now.
These were just an inspiring reminder.

My brother sent this to me this morning.
The lead singers voice reminds me a little of Belle and Sebastian.
Despite Fall being around the corner, I still do want to go swimming.

I love this Abandoned Airfield series from Jonathan May.
I'm reminded of my recent trip to Wendover Historic Airfield.
It makes me want to visit Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, a "boneyard" for airplanes.

Sea of Heartbreak was originally co-written in 1961, by Paul Hampton and Hal David. It was first recorded by Don Gibson, later in 1984 by Leo Sayer and was the opening song in Clint Eastwood's film Heartbreak Ridge.

and Paul Newman...
and Robert Redford...
Anyway...

Don Gibson has such a great voice.
In my book, he's right up there with Johnny Cash (who also did a great version of this song).
